  1. I remember them all and love them all too…nostalgic over my childhood days after seeing those old ads….they made us all laugh, cry, sing along and feel so good. Thanks for putting them all up, and enabling a journey to childhood days and esp Doordharshan days. 🙂

  2. Loved the old ads!! They all had a nice, sweet jingle. Earlier, we used to watch all the advertisements with rapt attention unlike today, where we move to the other channel immediately, as soon the ads appear! Of course, there are reasons for doing that! 😀

  3. Hey you’ve brought out the best of the best from the archives..Dont think you’ve left out any of my favs..As a Commercial Arts student we had listed these as Good Ads and they all truly are!!! Thanks for refreshing old memories…SWEET..:D

  4. wow! wow! wow! what a compilation… dont have the time right now to go through all of them,… but i remember them well too… those days we used to wait for tv time, and eagerly lap up everything, including the ads! shall rewind when i am free…..thanks..

  6. Great anthology from the yester years …. two ads which I remember ..both in Bengali are for Keo Karpin and Horlicks. And the Nirma ad where the actors used to jump as high as ninjas … enjoyed the post !!

  7. all the ad’s dont load here… but I loved that bajaj ad… so apt… and they almost made it a proud thing to own… then… the scooter… humara bajaj !!!!!!! a wonderful advertisemtn !!

  10. There are so many that I use to love..the Dhaara ad, ‘Jaleebi’..the ‘Pier’ soap ad…the Santoor ad, ‘Chintu Saksena’..the Nerolac ad, ‘Jab ghar ke roonak bhadaani ho’..

    I can go on and on. And so many you have mentioned. Loved every one of those 🙂 🙂
